Your Hosts

Everyone is truly welcome at Paradise Valley Lodge!

We enjoy providing genuine hospitality and helping our guests create beautiful memories in the Slocan Valley.

We live on the property below the Loft, all year long.  We’re here to provide the hospitality most people need when they travel to a new rural area.

We know the local area well and provide you with maps, brochures and advice.

Pam Sims has lived in the Slocan Valley for 25 years. She is a realistic landscape painter and sculptor. All of the art works in the home are hers and reflect her love of this Valley and Canada.  The Lodge has beautiful natural lighting and is a perfect art gallery. Check out her art portfolio.

At The Lodge she is the: Guest Services manager, Website and Graphic designer, Sign painter, Accountant, Gardener, Landscaper, Decorator, Custodian, Seamstress and House painter.

David Liske enjoyed a successful career as a touring musician and has played in concert halls all across Canada. He also managed a large ranch in Alberta for many years and ran a horse program for disabled kids in the Kettle River Valley.

We’ve been married for 11 happy years and enjoy working together.

We’re proud to keep our independence as small Canadian business owners, and no longer advertise with the big American corporate listing companies.  No booking or cleaning fees are charged.
